The sea front area features four different ‘species’ of
bollard requested by Morrisons Supermarket (a main
sponsor of The Tern Project) who were excited by the
initial maquette for a cormorant.These cormorants
stand like sentries along the edge of the Stone Jetty,
magpies appropriately adorn the ‘Magpie Hopscotch’
game while puffins, cormorants, mallards and magpies
congregate around the entrance to Morrisons
Supermarket. Morrisons also
commissioned some bird
themed seating for
