 Panorama is an interpretation of the view across the bay cut in steel and is located at the former Central Pier entrance. On a clear day the Lakeland hills, the mouth of the Kent Estuary, the towns of Grange-over-Sands and Barrow-in-Furness plus Walney Island & Piel Island can be seen. Many of the lakeland peaks are identified on Panorama by raised steel text and those with a bird connection are highlighted in larger lettering. The Artist Russell Coleman |
