The Historic City of Lancaster is dominated by its medieval castle and the River Lune that runs through the city.The narrow, Georgian streets surrounding the castle contain a wealth of attractions, shops and restaurants, making it an ideal choice for a holiday or shortbreak.

The scenery within the Lune Valley remains as beautiful today as it was when JMW Turner and Ruskin were captivated by the landscaped and the River Lune continues to meander past unspoilt ancient villages and churches.
